Causeway reopens with first open section of the new Christchurch Coastal Pathway
On Friday 1 November after six months of detours around the back of McCormacks Bay, mayor Lianne Dalziell, assisted by local Redcliffs school pupils cut the ribbon to re-open the causeway and open the first new section of the Christchurch Coastal Pathway.
A huge thank you to Fulton Hogan who gifted the labour and materials for this section of smooth 4m-wide asphalted pathway.
